The Facts about SMS Bullseye Safety Lancets:

SMS clinical studies have shown that using different size diameter (thickness of the needle) needles/blades and a consistent depth penetration greatly improves patient comfort and blood sampling. This is achieved by offering the professional a choice in the diameter/size of the needle they need to use for the amount of blood that is needed for testing. By having a "CHOICE" in needle thickness, discomfort is greatly minimized for the patient because the size of the puncture is controlled by the amount of blood needed to test.

The Facts about other Safety Lancets:
Other Safety lancets in the marketplace choose to use one thick diameter needle (21G) but change the depth penetration of the needle/blade. This method of manufacturing "tremendously increases patient discomfort" due to the same size puncture wound being delivered each and every time sampling is preformed. The amount of pain only increases the deeper the needle or blade is inserted into the testing area.
